The "Friends"

The Friends of Y Bwthyn is a registered charity whose aim is to support cancer and palliative patients, by working closely with the specialist palliative care team at Y Bwthyn.
Y Bwthyn is the palliative care unit at Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Llantrisant covering the Rhondda and Taff-Ely areas of South Wales.

What we do

The Friends of Y Bwthyn helps support cancer sufferers and other palliative patients in Y Bwthyn or the community. We do this through providing grants or purchasing equipment that cannot be provided by the NHS. We also provide additional support for in-patients in the ward at Y Bwthyn.
